Ibanez Jazzmaster Copy (sunburst)

This is one of three Ibanez Jazzmaster copies owned by Kevin, purchased around 1987-88, as there were no Jazzmasters in Ireland at the time, making it one of Kevin's very first 'offset' style guitars.

You can see this guitar being played most famously in the 'only shallow' music video, with the stock chrome pickups remaining. Bilinda also plays this guitar in the video for 'you made me realise'.

The other Ibanez Jazzmaster copies owned by Kevin at the time was a black model (featured in the 'you made me realise' video) - and another sunburst one which featured carvings into the upper section of the body, exposing the raw wood, often used live in 1988-89 for 'when you wake (you're still in a dream), which had replaced pickups, and eventually would undergo a makeover.
